Yep, DeutscheMarques is back for 2021, and we’re going! DeutscheMarques is a premier gathering of German cars, owners, and enthusiasts at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. We’ll get together at 8 a.m. at BMW of Ann Arbor for a quick coffee and hello and leave promptly at 8:30 for the show. We’ll take the back roads–it should be about a two-hour trip to the Gilmore, and you can find the directions HERE. Trophies are awarded at about 2 p.m., but people are welcome to stay until the Museum closes at 6. (No formal driving tour for the trip home–you’re on your own!)
Do you know if members of our group are also having their cars judged at the show?
That’s a great question. It’s really an individual decision. There’s no extra charge for being in the show. You can download the pre-registration form at the DeutscheMarques website to get an idea of the different classes–for example, daily driver, high-mileage, etc. I know that the last couple of times we went as a group, a number of the cars registered for the show. It’s up to you!
