Fall Color Drive

Come join us for a scenic drive through the back roads near Brighton, MI all the way up to Spicer Orchards south of Fenton.  This event is intended for the whole family as we take in all the colors fall during the drive and the crips air filled with the aroma of fresh apple cider and donuts at the orchard.  All great things we love enjoying during the fall in Michigan. 

We will be starting at the park and ride on 8 Mile just west of US 23.  The drive will begin at 11am by crossing over the highway to cruise around Whitmore Lake before winding our way north through Island Lake and Kensington.  Along the way we will pass more lakes nestled between the colorful trees and make our way around the Milford Proving Grounds.  Once we hit M59, we will make a Michigan left to get to US 23, head up one exit to Clyde Rd, and on to the orchard.  Taking the highway avoids using any dirt roads.

Spicer Orchards is a classic Michigan apple orchard with a market and a winery.  There’s fresh cider and donuts aplenty along with other baked goods and produce.  You can walk through the grounds and pick your own apples & pumpkins.  They also have a playground for the kids, hayrides, farm animals, and a huge corn maze.
