Join us for a picnic at Hudson Mills Metropark (https://www.metroparks.com/hudson-mills-metropark/). Sunday, 25 August from 11:30AM to 2PM. The club will provide hot dogs, brats, potato salad, and coleslaw. You must provide your own beverage.
For those attending the club picnic this Sunday, we will be doing a group drive after everyone has eaten. This drive is be approximately 1.5 hours long. It will be a round trip leaving from Hudson Mills and back.
Here are the turn by turn directions:
-Exit the park by turning right on North Territorial. Then turn right on Huron River Dr. Follow Huron River Dr. to Mast Rd. and turn right followed by an immediate left turn back into Huron River Dr.
-Remain on Huron River Dr. until you reach Maple Rd. and turn right. Follow Maple Rd. to the second traffic circle and take the first exit to the right. Turn right onto Miller Rd.
-Follow Miller Rd. to Zeeb Rd. and turn left. Take Zeeb Rd. to Jackson Rd. and turn right. Follow Jackson Rd. and turn right on Main St./M52. -Going through downtown Chelsea, follow M52 north of Waterloo Rd. and turn left.
-Remain on Waterloo Rd. until you reach Clear Lake Rd. At Clear Lake and Trist Rd. turn right. Follow Trist Rd. until it becomes Seymour Rd which is a sweeping corner to the left.
-Take Seymour Rd. to Mount Hope and turn right. Remain on Mount Hope until you reach M106 and turn right. Follow M106 north to M52 and turn right.
-Follow M52 south to North Territorial and turn left. Follow North Territorial back to Hudson Mills.
