It’s still on!
You may have seen news reports that the Washtenaw County Health Department today restricted outdoor gatherings in Ann Arbor to 25 people. That’s true, but BMW of Ann Arbor, which is hosting the Cars & Coffee, is located outside the city of Ann Arbor, in Scio Township, so the 25-person limit does not apply. Out of caution, we’re still limiting total participation to the first 40 people who RSVP to our secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the spirit of the Health Department order, we’ll be asking everyone who attends to sign a sign-in sheet so the County can do contact tracing if an attendee later tests positive. And, of course, if you have a fever or other Covid-19 symptoms or otherwise don’t feel well, stay home.
Also, under the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-160 (really, 160!), we have to limit indoor participation to no more than ten people at a time. We’re working on ways of doing our demonstration tech inspection so that a total of more than ten people can watch, but there may be some restrictions there. Finally, under the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-153, we’re asking that every attendee wear a mask when indoors at BMW of Ann Arbor and wear a mask outdoors if you’re unable to consistently maintain a distance of six feet or more from individuals who are not members of your household.
What a time we’re living in. Everyone, stay safe and well. And thanks again to BMW of Ann Arbor for hosting us!
